The Buildings & Factories (B&F) division of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured major contracts from various central and state government bodies across India.
Among the new orders is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract awarded by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for the development of Common Central Secretariat buildings 6 and 7 in New Delhi. The project involves the construction of two buildings with a configuration of one basement, two podium levels, upper ground floor, and six additional floors.
L&T鈥檚 responsibilities include civil works, finishing, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services, external site development, and operation and maintenance for a period of five years.
In another significant win, the division has received a design and construction contract from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for building the new State Legislative Assembly. This project will comprise one basement, ground floor and three upper floors.
Both projects are to be completed within an ambitious timeline of 18 months, reflecting L&T鈥檚 reputation for timely delivery of complex infrastructure.鈥�
