Pidilite joins GCP to offer best waterproofing solutions in India

Pidilite Industries has collaborated with GCP Applied Technologies to provide high-performance waterproofing solutions for challenging sites that have exposure to high-temperature variation and water tables under its brand Dr Fixit.

Both Pidilite and Dr Fixit offer comprehensive waterproofing solutions for all the structures and buildings, including commercial and residential buildings, tunnels, bridges and prominent government buildings.

Pidilite plans to boost its robust product portfolio by offering specialised waterproofing solutions by GCP.

The company delivers complete waterproofing solutions for all building structures, including commercial and residential buildings, tunnels, bridges and prominent government buildings.

GCP products are globally known for their technology, performance and ease of application, having international standard test certifications to their credit.

Dr Fixit will provide PREPRUFE, differentiated, fully adhered waterproofing membranes and SILCOR 1100, which provides fast and secure liquid waterproofing membranes in the Indian market.

Because water can permeate through poorly designed or installed membrane and could damage the foundation of a building or structure, PREPRUFE can be effective. It is easy to install and provides strong protection against the leaching of water, moisture and gas. It is also UV resistant and delivers great results even in harsh weather or environmental conditions.

Himanshu Kapadia, Chief Business Officer, Construction Chemicals of Pidilite Industries Limited, said that this partnership would provide specialised waterproofing solutions for challenging and tough sites and fill a huge need gap in the Indian market. GCP鈥檚 products, with Pidilite鈥檚 brand strength and market reach, have the potential to unlock great opportunities in the Indian waterproofing market.

Mazen El Tabaa, General Manager of GCP Applied Technologies, said that through this partnership, the company aims to leverage Pidilite鈥檚 leadership, strong expertise and wide footprint in the waterproofing solutions to best capitalise on the huge opportunity in the Indian market.
