Ambuja Cements launches Concrete Futures Laboratory

Concrete Futures Laboratory (CFL), a one-stop solution for architects, engineers, and construction professionals, has been launched by Ambuja Cements (AEC).

Experts and aspiring professionals can test, learn, and experience various aspects of cement and concrete at the CFL.

CFLs perform two types of tests on construction materials: physical testing, which includes cement and aggregate testing according to IS specifications, and non-destructive testing, which includes ultrasonic pulse velocity and rebound hammer testing.

Architects, engineers, and construction professionals can also benefit from the concrete mix design services. The laboratories also tailor concrete solutions for customers and the AEC community as part of their R&D and innovation efforts.

The AEC community will have access to design services such as self-compacting concrete, fibre reinforced concrete, lightweight and heavy-density concrete, dry-lean concrete, and pavement quality concrete, among others.

CFL also allows the construction industry to develop new products or solutions in a sustainable manner.
