TKIL Industries partners with KIS Group to expand into CBG production

TKIL Industries (formerly thyssenkrupp Industries India) has entered the Bio-Chemicals sector as part of its business diversification strategy. The company has partnered with KIS Group, a leader in sustainable biofuel technology, to drive compressed biogas (CBG) production, supporting India鈥檚 energy transition and decarbonisation goals.
Through this collaboration, TKIL will leverage KIS Group鈥檚 advanced technology to maximize CBG production from sugar plant byproducts, distilleries, and other biomass sources. This initiative aligns with India鈥檚 target of reducing carbon emissions by 50 per cent and achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030.
