HCCBP dedicates its first solar power initiative

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCBPL) dedicated a 100 kW rooftop solar power plant at its Wada bottling plant in the Palghar district of Maharashtra. This initiative is in line with company麓s sustainability agenda wherein it seeks to contribute towards social, economic and environmental progress by fostering the efficient use of natural resources. The facility, with a capacity to generate 100 KW, is an off grid plant, which is independent of the state electricity board grid and 100 per cent of the power produced is being used for internal operations at the plant.
