Jakson Power to invest Rs.700 cr in projects

Jakson Power has plans to invest about Rs 700 crore to set up solar power farms. This will increase the company麓s installed capacity to 200 MW over the next two years. This growth will be fuelled by the gensets business and expansion in the solar power generation capacity and the hospitality business. Currently, the company has an installed capacity of 30 MW of solar power generation, 20 MW in Rajasthan and 10 MW in Uttar Pradesh. Now, it is in the process of setting up an additional 30 MW in Uttar Pradesh and is eyeing Telengana as a potential market.
