aluplast Installs 300 kWp Solar Rooftop at Vadodara Facility

aluplast has reinforced its commitment to sustainability with a 300 kWp solar rooftop installation at its Vadodara facility. Covering 2,000 sq m, the system will cut CO鈧 emissions by 4.1 million tonne over its lifespan鈥攅quivalent to planting 5,100 trees annually.

The initiative aligns with aluplast鈥檚 broader sustainability roadmap, including investments in recycled uPVC production by 2026. The company integrates sustainability across its operations, using recyclable materials in uPVC windows and doors while ensuring durability and energy efficiency.

Speaking on this development, Babak Golriz, Head of Expanding Markets, aluplast India, said, 鈥淭his initiative is more than just about energy savings; it represents a crucial milestone in our broader sustainability roadmap. By 2026, we are investing in new extruders and production lines capable of handling recycled uPVC, further leveraging its 100% recyclable nature to minimize our environmental impact.
