Engineers India partners with Sunrise CSP for Energy Ventures

Engineers India has entered into a preliminary agreement with Australia's Sunrise CSP Group to jointly develop energy projects both within India and overseas.

This pact establishes an "exclusive partnership in concentrated solar thermal power," encompassing projects related to oil and gas and various other energy sectors. The Australian Trade and Investment Commission stated that the collaboration aims to bring the sun's clean heat to industrial processes across scales and temperatures. This spans from providing heating and cooling solutions to prominent medical institutions, such as a cancer hospital in Gujarat, to producing essential chemicals like hydrogen and ammonia. Furthermore, the partnership envisions national-level power solutions that deliver electricity as needed.

Artur Zawadski, CEO of Sunrise CSP, articulated, "Together we aim to deliver the clean heat of the sun to industrial production at all scales and all temperatures 鈥 from heating and cooling a major cancer hospital as we are in Gujarat today, to making vital chemicals like hydrogen & ammonia, to national-scale power solutions delivering electricity on-demand."

Engineers India specialises in offering consultancy, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services across the oil and gas industry and various other segments within the energy sector. Vartika Shukla, Chairperson of Engineers India, highlighted the diverse applications of Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) technology. She emphasised its potential for integration with existing industrial facilities and process plants, underscoring its versatility and adaptability.
