Gujarat's CM dedicates tidal regulator dam in the Navsari district

Gujarat saw the laying of the cornerstone for a tidal regulator dam project worth Rs 1.1 billion on the Purna river in the Navsari district. According to Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister, Gujarat, after the project is finished, the 21 nearby villages' residents won't have water shortages for agriculture and drinking.
In addition, Patel laid the cornerstones for and opened a number of development projects totaling Rs 1.95 billion in other talukas of the district.
The tidal regulating dam, which is 18 kilometres long, can contain 2,550 million cubic feet of water. Gujarat's growth is built on the Panch Shaktis established by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose delicious fruits (benefits) the Gujarati people are currently receiving.
Jal Shakti, Urja Shakti, Gnan Shakti, Raksha Shakti, and Jan Shakti are the five shaktis. As a result of the government's connection between Jal Shakti and Jan Shakti, Gujarat has implemented a unique system for water management to address the state's water shortage for drinking, irrigation, and domestic tasks.
The Purna Regulator Project will stop sea water from entering rivers, which will stop the salinisation process. When the project is finished, the lower ground water level will rise. The state government's goal is to increase groundwater levels through "Jal Sanchay" in order to address the drinking and irrigation water shortage.
