听Transmission & Distribution: The business has secured orders of Rs 7.50 billion for T&D projects in India-

765 kV GIS Substation order from a Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) entity under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route in Western India
400 kV Transmission Line and 400 kV GIS Substation orders from Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation (TANTRANSCO) in Southern India
400 kV Transmission Line order from a private player in Eastern India

听Railways: The business has secured orders of Rs 1.25 billion in India-

Signalling and Telecommunication works from Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) in Eastern India
Overhead Electrification and associated civil works from Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE) in Northern India

听Cables: The business has secured orders of Rs 1.50 billion for various types of cables/ cabling projects.

HCL-Foxconn to invest Rs 37 billion in chip plant near Jewar airport

The Union Cabinet has approved the establishment of a new semiconductor unit near Jewar airport in Uttar Pradesh under the India Semiconductor Mission. This sixth plant, a joint venture between HCL and Foxconn, marks further progress in India鈥檚 semiconductor journey. The project will see an investment of Rs 37 billion.The facility will produce display driver chips for mobile phones, laptops, automobiles, PCs, and other digital devices.
