Sikkim government seeks bid for electrical works

Energy and power department- Government of Sikkim has released a tender for 11 kv downstream connectivity works of mangan, gyalshing and Soreng districts of Sikkim state under revamped reforms-based and results-linked, distribution sector scheme.

Bidding will be conducted through national open competitive e-procurement.  The bidding document is available online  for downloading on https://sikkimtender.gov.in  16.03.2023 to 20.04.2023.

Brief description of scope of work: 

The scope of work under the subject package includes site survey, planning, design, engineering, assembly manufacturing, testing, supply, loading, transportation, unloading, insurance, delivery at site, handling, storage, installation, testing, commissioning and documentation of all items/material, required to complete the following works in Gangtok, Pakyong, Namchi & Mangan district of Sikkim which inter-alia include :

11 KV Downstream connectivity at Gyalshing, Soreng & Mangan:

i. 11Kv 3 phase, transmission line on DOG conductor.

ii. 11 KV, 120sqmm, XLPE insulated armoured cable with Aluminium conductor from 11KV feeder panel to OH line.

iii. Capacity addition of Distribution Sub- stations of following capacities:

a)63KVA

b)100 KVA

c)200KVA

d)315KVA

iv. Extension of 3 phase, 5 wire L.T.

Distribution line.

v. Conversion of overhead L.T. Distribution

line into Ariel Bunch cable(3x50+1x35+1x16) system.

The tender seeks electrical work worth Rs 26,91,00,000 crore to be completed in 730 days. As per the tender, the bid validity will be 180 days, and it will be an open bidding process. The bid submission period began on April 1, 2023 and will end on May 2, 2023.
