SPML Infra receives Rs 1157.08 cr of Isarda water supply project

Under the flagship scheme of Jal Jeevan Mission, SPML Infra has received Rs 1157.08 order for the Isarda water supply project to provide safe drinking water in Dausa and Sawai Madhopur districts in Rajasthan from Public Health Engineering Department, Tonk, Rajasthan.

The Rajasthan government's Isarda water supply project aims to provide safe drinking water to nearly 25 lakh rural and urban residents, benefiting 1,079 villages and five towns in Dausa and 177 villages and one town in Sawai Madhopur districts. The contract is the company's largest single order for the execution of a major water supply project in Rajasthan.

The work will be completed in two years, with a one-year defect liability period and a ten-year operation and maintenance period after commissioning.

The project includes 341 km of MS & DI Raw Water and Clear Water Transmission Pipeline, as well as a 225 million litre per day Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Isarda, Dausa.
