ACC Ready Mix Concrete introduced a new low carbon range of concrete, ECOPact—the green concrete. The product, launched in Mumbai and Hyderabad, will be rolled out across India in a phased manner in the next few weeks. According to ACC, ECOPact is a concrete with 30-50 per cent lower embodied carbon content compared to a reference concrete designed with ordinary portland cement (OPC). The product range uses CO2 reduced binders and is manufactured with mix designs to reduce its carbon footprint. The sustainable product range is said to be suitable for all structural components: from foundations to roof—including elements like columns, beams, slabs, external or internal walls, driveways, walkways and more.Contact: ACC.Tel: 022-4159 3321.Website: www.acclimited.com
