With its 57 years of pedigree, it has attained a leadership position over the last 10 years. Johnson Lifts has a comprehensive product range in lifts and escalators to suit every need with its strong after-sales service network, service practices, quick responses and expertise in large project management.Manufacturing The company has four ultra-modern state-of-the-art large factories situated in Chennai and Nagpur with a capacity to produce 15,000 units for lifts and escalators and beyond. The manufacturing is guided through the Six Sigma process before it is dispatched to the field.OperationThe field responsible to install, commission and hand over the ultimate product operates from more than 54 centres across India. Operation heads along with its well-trained team members execute the job at each centre, which is independent and self-reliant in resources. Parameters such as safety audits, installation cycle time, mechanic productivity, 5S, etc, are some key areas monitored. Service and maintenance In the lift industry, after-sales service plays a vital role and is responsible for safe and trouble-free operation of lifts and escalators. The company鈥檚 174 service centers are fully equipped with trained and skilled manpower to provide faster response and quality maintenance to its customers. The National Service stores located in Chennai having a build-up area of 24,000 sq ft is fully equipped to cater to supply spare parts to all its branches. Major metro cities having facilities of mobile service store vans delivers materials to the site directly to reduce downtime.
