Italian Pavilion Shines at Bauma

Italy will again be in the international spotlight as the top foreign exhibitor at Bauma 2025, the world鈥檚 largest trade fair for construction machinery, taking place in Munich from April 7鈥13. Over 500 Italian companies are participating, with several showcased in the Unacea Pavilion, a dedicated space in Hall C5 (booth C5.326) for businesses on the waiting list.

The Unacea Pavilion, co-organised with Monacofiere, includes: Bci Europe, Di Natale-Bertelli, Ghim Hydraulics, Meccanica Ponte Chiese, Panaro, Petronas Lubricants, Scilla Meccanica, and Smat Nord. It also features an institutional reception area, reinforcing Italy鈥檚 prominent presence.

Bauma is a triennial event drawing global participation. The 2022 edition saw 3,200 exhibitors and nearly 500,000 visitors from over 200 countries. In 2025, the numbers are projected to rise to 3,500 exhibitors, with international companies making up one percent of participants.

Unacea President Michele Vitulano stated that Italy鈥檚 dominance as a foreign exhibitor reflects the sector鈥檚 strong global position. He emphasised that the Unacea Pavilion plays a vital role in helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) gain visibility and engage internationally.

Bauma 2025 will place additional focus on innovative themes such as climate neutrality, alternative fuels, sustainable building materials, and digital transformation. The event will span more than 614,000 square meters of exhibition space, encompassing both indoor and outdoor displays.

Italy鈥檚 strong presence signals not only its manufacturing capabilities but also its adaptability to global trends in sustainable and digital construction. The Italian Pavilion serves as a gateway for companies to connect with global partners, attract investment, and showcase cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of construction.
