Komatsu expands line of hydraulic breakers

Komatsu Ltd has designed G and H-Series breaker adjuncts for expanding their production in various applications.

From breakers Komatsu's PC78 up to the PC490 fit excavators with a capacity of 5.5-50 metric tons.

Komatsu G-Series breakers stress on a design that combines hydraulic flow and pressure with a nitrogen-filled chamber. They only consist of two parts for durability and easier maintenance.

The breakers can be enabled to handle tough rock and concrete jobs by creating them using tie-rod design. Standardised blank firing protection is a must. By the use of a hydraulic cushion in the cylinder metal-to-metal contact can be reduced.

The producers of these hydraulic breakers designed the larger breakers with key slot dampers to minimise the production of vibration to the excavator.

The new hydraulic breaker by Komatsu JMHB130H is compatible with the excavators PC130 and PC138USLC by the company itself.

Komatsu H-Series comes with accumulator-type breakers that work without the need for nitrogen recharge. They also consist of blank firing protection. Sound-dampening housings and a pressure regulator are the additional features of this breaker including preventing overflow.

A dampening system has been included to prevent damage to the excavator boom and housing cracks.

Komatsu also uses a single power cell that eliminates tie rods to make these breakers compatible with medium-sized excavators as it creates a better weight-to-power ratio.

The H-Series breakers also have a built-in automatic lubrication system. Both the hydraulic breakers G-Series and H-Series come with a one year warranty.
