Pradeep Sharma, President of Action Construction Equipment (ACE), passed away on August 5, 2020. 

An alumnus of the premier institute IIT Kanpur, Sharma began his career with the renowned multinational Metal Box Ltd as a Management Trainee. Since then, he has held various senior and top management positions with well-known organisations such as Toyota, Voltas, Bharat Forge and SP Group.

A veteran with almost four decades of experience in engineering and construction equipment industry, Sharma was serving as President of ACE and during the period, he has steered the company towards becoming number one in its major product segment 鈥� cranes. Under his leadership, ACE has won many prestigious awards, most notable ones being the 鈥業ndia鈥檚 Best Material Handling & Construction Equipment Manufacturing Company鈥�, 鈥楤est Seller in Mobile Cranes Category鈥�, 鈥楾op Challenger Award鈥�, 鈥業ndia鈥檚 Most Trusted Company Award鈥� and 鈥�70 Most Trusted Power Brands of India鈥�. He had been on the National Committee of Defence (CII) in the past and also involved actively in various industry fora. 

He was a thorough gentleman and a well-wisher of ASAPP Info Global Group with his presence in the events organised by the Group and his contributions to the publications. 

Mr Sharma鈥檚 demise is a loss for the construction and material handling equipment industry.
