Takeuchi unveils short-tailed excavator TB335R

To its TB300 Series, Takeuchi has included a compact excavator with a short tail-swing.

North America and Europe will be the first regions to carry the TB335R model.

The TB335R's short tail-swing design results in a rear overhang of only 3.1 inches over the rails, making it excellent for working in tight or constricted locations." Along with remarkable stability that is uncommon in a short tail-swing machine, it also offers smooth, user-friendly controls that make it easy for operators to handle challenging tasks.

A Tier 4 Final/European Stage V emission-compliant engine that produces 24.4 horsepower and a maximum torque of 70.6 foot-pounds powers the excavator.

The TB335R has two operating modes, Standard and ECO, which enable users to tailor the mode to the task at hand and decide whether they prefer more power or fuel savings.

The complete cab variant has a maximum breakout force of 9,127 pounds and weighs 8,310 pounds with cab or canopy options. According to reports, the digging force is 4,290 pounds.
