Trimble, a technology company, introduced Roadworks Paving Control Platform for Asphalt Compactors.Trimble鈥檚 Asphalt Compactor Technology aids in improving Mat Quality and Paving Productivity.
It is a system to control the compaction process accurately while decreasing unnecessary passes. With this newly developed system, the controller can see the compaction progress, pass counts and mat temps on a colour display.
The controller can monitor pass counts only or pass counts plus temperature, add temperature sensors or precision accuracy and wirelessly transfer intelligent compaction data from the machine to the office.
This functionality permits consolidated surface material to the preferred compaction stiffness target and monitors site volumes simultaneously in real-time.
The controller gets optimal compaction for the desired temperature range and decreases material work with real-time temperature map monitoring.
The 3D system is developed with Trimble鈥檚 established Roadworks software that reduces training times, maximises ease of use, and shortens downtime. Rodworks is available at different pricing levels to meet the requirements of every contractor.
The new compactor licences addition has made it possible for the contractors to pay for the functionality they need. Office-only licences give enhanced functionality in the office.
The road works are compatible with both Trimble WorksOS and Trimble WorksManager software.
These allow contractors to send construction-ready models from the office to the machine and to monitor job-site work and progress, including the productivity data collected from the machine, which is automatically synced back to the office.
Trimble Roadworks Paving Control Platform for Asphalt Compactors is now available to order via the worldwide SITECH distribution channel.
