The new hydraulic breaker line from Chicago Pneumatic is designed to meet wide application needs.Since 1901, the Chicago Pneumatic name has represented high-performance tools and equipment designed for an extensive range of applications. The company recently launched its product, the Chicago Pneumatic RX Hydraulic Breaker Line.Wide applicationThe Chicago Pneumatic RX Hydraulic Breaker line offers 13 models designed to match various application needs in demolition, primary/secondary breaking, trenching and foundation work, recycling, road construction, and landscaping.With a service weight of 94 kg (207 pounds), the breaker fits carrier classes with weights ranging from 1 to 3 metric tonne. It also features an established hybrid gas/oil technology and is engineered with fewer components to enable proper maintenance.Enhanced performanceThe CP Power Boost feature on the RX models is designed to achieve higher breaking performance in tougher applications without requiring additional hydraulic input. While the impact energy remains constant, the breaker increases blow frequency, which enhances percussive performance. The Power Stop function reduces blank firing, and is designed to protect the breaker and carrier while increasing the working life of the components. The larger models in the Chicago Pneumatic RX line, RX25 through RX53, feature a power control valve, which enables the operator to adjust the breaker's performance according to the application. The RX25-RX53 models also feature a fastening system that uses head bolts and inserts threads to distribute torque equally.The RX line has been designed to provide increased noise and vibration damping. The hydraulic breakers also feature a new style of internal control valve, which has proved to be more efficient than other designs.Additional featuresOptional equipment available for breakers in the RX 14 to RX 53 range, include CP Lube - an automatic lubrication system for extended lifetime of the bushing and working tool - HD Kit (Heavy Duty Kit), which protects the box when the breaker is used in abrasive material; and DustWiper, a scraper that keeps dust out of the lower breaker part.(Communication by the management of the company)
