Great news for individuals who have built or plan to build their dream homes in Arkavathy Layout! The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has initiated a tender for the enhancement of roads within the area, aiming to establish essential infrastructure within the next nine months. The current lack of proper roads, street lights, underground drainage, and water supply has posed significant challenges for existing homeowners in the layout. To address these issues, the BDA has committed to developing the roads across 12 villages within Arkavathy Layout, with an estimated cost of Rs 979.5 million. The short-term tender notification specifies that the road development and asphalt work must be completed within nine months, accounting for the monsoon season, starting from the commencement date of the project. Specific allocations for road development include Rs 100 million for the 19th block at Bellakere village, Rs 20 million for the eighth, 10th, and 11th blocks at Srirampura and Dasarahalli, and Rs 40 million for the 11th block.
