Centre, Rajasthan Review Key Urban Projects in Jaipur

Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal and Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma held a joint review meeting in Jaipur today to assess the progress of centrally funded urban development projects in the state. The session took place at the Chief Minister鈥檚 residence.

The review covered a wide range of flagship initiatives supported by the Government of India, including the Swachh Bharat Mission, PM e-Bus Sewa, Jaipur Metro Rail, AMRUT 2.0, and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). The meeting focused on evaluating project execution, expansion plans, and financial models to ensure the optimal use of resources.

Chief Minister Sharma emphasized the importance of accurate cost assessments, especially for Metro Phase-2 and other major projects. He stressed that effective resource utilization should translate into enhanced urban facilities for residents.
