Gujarat SCDRC directs Sambhav Infrastructure to hand over flats

The Gujarat State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission has issued an order directing a developer firm and its directors to transfer possession of flats to five customers. Additionally, they were instructed to provide Rs 3.80 lakh in compensation or refund the amounts previously paid towards consideration.

The individuals involved in the case were Naresh Balwani from Gandhidham, Mehulbharthi Goswami, Heena Khorasiya, Chakshu Suthar, and Lalit Soni. Each of them had reserved flats in a project called Stavan Parishray in the Gota area, which was promoted by Sambhav Infrastructure and its directors, Mihir Desai and Toshal Desai.

The scheme had been devised in 2012, and the customers proceeded to book the flats in 2015, making various payments towards the sale consideration.
