India's first net-zero business park in Chennai achieves IGBC certification

Morphogenesis proudly announces the achievement of International Tech Park Chennai, Radial Road (ITPC-Radial Road), developed for CapitaLand Investment (CLI), marking a monumental milestone as the first business park in India to receive certification as net-zero by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). This esteemed recognition underscores the park's unwavering commitment to energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management.

The net-zero energy strategy implemented by Morphogenesis employs a holistic approach, combining passive and active measures to minimize energy consumption while maximizing efficiency. Furthermore, the project integrates a range of initiatives to reduce water usage and promote reuse within its premises.

In addition to the IGBC certification, the project has also obtained the WELL Building Standard certification, a globally recognized accreditation that acknowledges projects for designs enhancing the well-being and productivity of occupants. By prioritizing features conducive to healthier indoor environments?such as meticulous regulation of air and water quality and maximizing natural daylight?the business park fosters sustainability, optimization, and exceptional livability.

Strategically located along Chennai's burgeoning IT corridor, Phase-1 operations of the project have commenced. Upon completion, the expansive 5 million square feet (sq ft) business park will comprise four Grade A office blocks, catering to the needs of over 50,000 IT service professionals.
