Landesmesse Stuttgart Aappoints Gaurav Sood as CEO

Messe Stuttgart India, a subsidiary of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG 鈥� one of the world's leading companies in the trade fair and exhibition industry since 1940鈥攈as announced the appointment of Gaurav Sood as its CEO. A distinguished leader with 25 years of extensive experience, Gaurav has contributed significantly to the exhibitions industry. With a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence, he is well-positioned to lead Messe Stuttgart India鈥檚 initiatives. His focus will be on advancing the company鈥檚 mission of supporting India鈥檚 evolving economy through strategic industry events that foster innovation and collaboration.

Prior to joining Messe Stuttgart India, Gaurav held leadership roles at Hyve India and MCI Group.

Aditya Gupta, CEO & Managing Partner, India Didactics Association, had temporarily been managing Messe Stuttgart India since June 2024 as the Interim CEO.

Messe Stuttgart India has expanded its portfolio with the addition of DIDAC Skills and has successfully organized several key events, including DIDAC INDIA, LogiMAT India, MOLDEX India, and FASTNEX, driving industry growth and reinforcing India鈥檚 vision to become a global trade fair hub. The parent company, Messe Stuttgart in Germany, has an impressive legacy that spans over 80 years, hosting more than 70 international fairs and congresses each year, attracting millions of visitors and exhibitors.
