Odisha CM Patnaik launches projects worth Rs 4.88 bn

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for projects worth Rs 4.88 billion in Padampur this week.

The Chief Minister inaugurated some completed projects worth around Rs 300 million and laid the foundation stones for several new schemes worth Rs 4.58 billion.

As many as 20 lift irrigation projects worth Rs 200 million were dedicated to the nation. Another Rs 184.80 million has been spent to develop infrastructure for agricultural marketing.

A total of Rs 2.60 billion will be spent on construction of 38 new bridges and Rs 1.36 billion on 25 new roads to improve connectivity in Padampur.

An amount of Rs 90 million has been earmarked for infrastructure development in villages, four rural haats and market complexes.
