Remsons Industries, headquartered in Mumbai and known as a prominent supplier of cables and shifters for the automotive industry, has secured its fourth order from Tata Motors. The order pertains to the provision of winches utilized for spare wheels. It was disclosed that the company is currently involved in supplying winches for successful models such as Tigor, Altroz, and Punch. The recent order is specifically designated for the forthcoming Tata Nexon CNG. The cumulative value of all the orders amounts to Rs 300 million and is anticipated to be fulfilled over a span of 3 years.
Tata Motors unveiled the Nexon iCNG, which is heralded as India?s inaugural car featuring a turbocharged CNG powertrain, during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The launch of the SUV is projected to occur in the latter half of 2024. Remsons Industries, boasting a 50-year legacy in providing automotive OEM components, caters to the requirements of two-, three-, and four-wheeler vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles in India, as well as global automotive OEMs. Manufacturing facilities are located in Gurgaon, Pune, Pardi, and Daman within India, in addition to Stourport in the UK.
The company?s proficiency extends across various auto components, encompassing control cables, gear shifters, pedal boxes, winches, and jacks, serving OEMs domestically and internationally. Furthermore, Remsons has broadened its product portfolio through collaborative ventures in the sectors of tire mobility, infotainment, and sensors, partnering with Aircom Group, Daiichi Infotainment Systems, and Uni-Automation, respectively.
