Rs 2,000 crore projects inaugurated & laid by Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik

In his hometown district of Ganjam, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik officially inaugurated and laid the foundation of projects worth a total of Rs 2,000 crore. In addition to Kabisuryanagar and Chhatrapur, he also attended separate rallies in his home district of Hinjili during his visit to Ganjam, with a focus mostly on development initiatives.

Pramila Bisoi, an Aska MP, made an appeal to the people to elect Patnaik as CM for a sixth straight term following the 2024 general elections. In Chhatrapur, Hinjili, and Kabisuryanagar, Patnaik laid the foundation for projects worth Rs 1,000 crore, Rs 590 crore, and Rs 316 crore respectively. Almost 20,000 people who have been residing on government land for countless generations received gram-kantak housing pattas, which are records of their rights.

Also, the chief minister gave self-help groups (SHGs) Rs 619 crore in interest-free loans. Rs 2.24 lakh women in 22,200 SHGs received these loans.
