VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), a Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture, recorded 12,094 units in March 2025, marking a 7.6 per cent increase from 11,242 units in March 2024. The Eicher brand accounted for 11,852 units, while Volvo Trucks and Buses contributed 242 units.
In the domestic commercial vehicle market, Eicher trucks and buses registered 11,187 units, reflecting a 6.3per cent growth over 10,525 units in March 2024. Meanwhile, exports surged by 44.3per cent, with 665 units shipped in March 2025 compared to 461 units a year earlier. However, Volvo Trucks and Buses saw a 5.5 per cent decline, selling 242 units versus 256 units in March 2024.
