Dextra India offers PT bars for temporary and permanent applications. Dextra India supplies Post Tension (PT) bars that are categorised into Fully Threaded bars and Smooth bars. Dextra Post Tensioning (PT) bars are used in temporary as well as permanent applications. High Tension bars Dextra also supplies high tension bars required canopy, fatade and foot over bridges. These bars are available in alloy steel and stainless steel, they are also found in various grades of steel. Fully Threaded bars Fully Threaded bars can be cut into any length as per the site requirement. Thus, it reduces the wastage of materials. These bars are easy to install and are majorly used in lifting precast concrete segments that are used in bridges, buildings etc. They are also used as soil and rock anchors for slope stabilisation, tunneling, tension piles, and structural repairs. Dextra supplies these bars in a standard length of 11.8 m and also offers customised lengths. These bars comprise a steel grade of 555 to 1230 N/mm2, its diameter ranges from 25 mm to 63.5 mm. It is manufactured from continuous hot rolled steel and has a minimum elongation of 6 per cent. It is also available in left and right hand thread. These bars also bear a load carrying capacity that ranges from 27.3 tonne to 212 tonne. Smooth bars Smooth bars are designed and manufactured in compliance with ASTM A835; BS 4486, JIS G3109 and are available in steel grades of 835 to 1200 N/mm2 with a diameter range of 28 mm to 100 mm. It has a minimum elongation of 10 per cent to12 per cent. These bars are rolled threaded and are available in a length of 11.8 m. Custom made lengths are also provided by the company. Smooth bars are examined for various tests including tensile test, fatigue test, 4 million cyclic load test, relaxation test, etc. (Communication by the management of the company)
