Boeing India to work on raw materials for aerospace parts

Boeing India has partnered with Mishra Dhatu Nigam (MIDHANI) to manufacture raw materials for basic aircraft parts and components in India. According to a Boeing news release, the indigenous availability of specific aerospace materials and alloys has been highlighted as important for India's development of a self-sufficient aerospace and defence industry.

According to the release, the availability of vital aeronautical materials is the first step in securing the supply chain and adhering to the NDA government's Aatmanirbhar Bharat aim.

This would represent a key milestone in the growth of the Boeing India supply chain, from raw material procurement to final product delivery, and would reflect the company's commitment to strengthening India's expanding aerospace and defence sector.
