How Ranchi Airport is contributing in the fight against Covid-19

The Ranchi Airport has stepped in to aid the country in the fight against the second wave of Covid-19. The airport has been contributing to the supply of medical equipment like oxygen tanks, oxygen concentrators, nozzles, Covid-19 vaccines, injections, test kits, and medicines. The airport management is ensuring that the supply of medical essentials is a priority and is to be supplied without delay.
Airports in the country are making contributions to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic and providing a helping hand to fight against the devastating disease and support the nation.
The mission at Birsa Munda Airport in overcoming the oxygen crisis in the country started on April 24 up to May 8. They have supplied 139 oxygen tanks in 100 aircrafts of the Indian Air Force. Indian Air Force aircrafts like C 17, C 130J, AN 32, IL 76 and other small aircraft are helping in the transportation of essential medical equipment regularly.
Also, the Ranchi Airport is following all the safety rules and guidelines as per the Central and state governments. The airport authority continues postulation to the visitors, passengers, stakeholders, employees, among others, to follow the Covid-19 guidelines and maintain staggered timings to avoid crowding.
It has been strictly advised to wear a mask and follow social distancing in the airport. Strict actions are taking place against those who violate the guidelines.
Airports are displaying the guidelines through electronic and permanent displays at the terminals to spread the information. The motive of this campaign is to spread awareness among the people for encouraging the appropriate Covid-19 protocols to ensure the safety of the people.
