Thirty people were injured when a bus carrying pilgrims from the Maa Purnagiri temple in Uttarakhand plunged into a ditch in Pilibhit district, as confirmed by local authorities.

Two Critically Injured, Rescue Operations Underway Among the injured, two passengers sustained critical injuries and are undergoing urgent medical care. Ashok Pal, Station Head Officer of Madhav Tanda, stated that swift rescue efforts ensured all passengers were evacuated and received medical attention.

Driver Lost Control Near Daga Village Authorities reported that the accident occurred late at night when the driver lost control of the vehicle near Daga village. However, it is yet to be determined whether the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
