962.50 million INR sanctioned for coastal highway project

In the Kozhikode district, the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) has approved the development of two significant sections of the coastal highway. The development of the project's BC Road-Kothi Beach stretch received the most funding, at 862.50 million rupees. P.A. Mohammed Riyas, Minister of Public Works and Tourism, stated that the money would be used to acquire the necessary amount of coastal land. He stated that the Kadalundi-Kadavu-Madathil Paadam development would be funded with 101 million rupees.

According to officials from the Public Works Department, the two stretches funded by the KIIFB were in the Beypore Assembly constituency. They stated that land would be acquired in such a way as to construct the 15.6-meter-wide road.
