Design for road over bridge at Ekkur approved

The construction of a bridge at Ekkur in Mangalore on NH-17 has been approved by the railways. The project is to be developed under National Highways Development Project Phase-III. NHAI would widen the highway to four lanes between Kundapur Surathkal and Nanthoor Circle. The project would cover a 90 km stretch, of which 74 km would be between Kundapur and Surathkal and 16 km between Nanthoor Circle and Talapady.
