Land acquisition resumed for key road in Kochi

In Kochi, for the 10 km long Thevara鈥� Thykoodam Bund Road work, land acquisition has been resumed. For the last few months, the land acquisition work was held up. Now the land acquisition is in the final states, say media reports. The Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) has already acquired 60 cents of land and now another 60 cents of land has to be acquired. When the Thevara鈥揟hykoodam Bund Road is ready, it will help to decongest SA Road. SA Road is one of the major roads that would be developed to ensure better east-west connectivity in Kochi.
