PM inaugurates highway project

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated the four-lane Aurangabad-Solapur national highway project. While the Rs 3,200-crore project has been awarded to IRB Infrastructure Development Ltd, the 290-km road will reduce the time taken to travel between Aurangabad and Solapur. The three-phase project includes the 100-km completed Solapur-Yedshi highway, 190-km ongoing Yedshi-Aurangabad highway and the 160-km stretch between Aurangabad and Dhule.
