Road gets plastic waste mix surface

The Pune Municipal Corporation麓s initiative to resurface a road using the mixture of plastic waste was completed recently in the Navi Peth area.The mission accomplished, it now plans to extend the initiative at 10 more roads in phases. Resurfacing of roads with plastic mix is likely to be conducted at Rajendranagar, Vimannagar, Magarpatta City, Koregaon Park, Mithanagar, Balewadi, Model Colony, Yerawada and the Baner Road area. The civic body used plastic waste in the bituminous mix for resurfacing the road at Navi Peth.

ED Searches 13 Locations Linked to Illegal Buildings in Vasai

The Mumbai Enforcement Directorate (ED) searched thirteen locations in Vasai and Virar linked to builders involved in constructing 41 illegal buildings on a 60-acre plot earmarked for public projects.
