Assam PWD invites bids for construction of 4-lane elevated corridor

The Chief Engineer, PWD (Roads), Assam, Chandmari, Guwahati-3, invites Bid on behalf of the Governor of Assam from eligible contractors registered with Assam PWD (Roads) for 鈥淐onstruction of 4-Lane Elevated Corridor on GNB Road from near Dighalipukhuri towards Noonmati near FCI Godown with 2-Lane Extended Arm towards Rajgarh Road in Guwahati City under SOPD for the year 2022-23.
The Assam government has taken several initiatives towards building roads in the state. These initiatives include the Mukhya Mantri Nagariya Path Pokikaran Achoni, Mukhya Mantrir Unnoto Pakipath Nirman Achoni, Mukhya Mantrir Mathauri Pokikarn Achoni, and Mukhya Mantrir Path Nabikaran Achoni. Under these schemes, the government has built and upgraded roads, constructed bridges, and provided connectivity to unconnected habitations. The government's initiatives have helped to improve road connectivity in the state and have boosted economic activity.
The tender seeks civil works- roads worth Rs.68998.01 Lakh (Approx.) to be completed in 1095 days. As per the tender, the bid validity will be 180 days, and it will be an open bidding process. The bid submission period began on June 13, 2023 and will end on July 4, 2023.
