The Bihar government has announced plans to upgrade the two-lane road connecting Darbhanga and Samastipur districts into a four-lane highway. The authorities assured that comprehensive plans for land acquisition would be prepared. 鈥� AIIMS Darbhanga access: A four-lane extension to AIIMS Darbhanga was prioritised to improve access for patients and nearby residents. 鈥� Traffic and connectivity improvements: The upgraded road is expected to ease transportation and alleviate congestion in key areas. Commissioner Kumar also reviewed progress on the four-lane road between Darbhanga and Amas and requested a detailed report on land acquisition across Darbhanga, Samastipur, and Madhubani districts. He further directed officials to submit updates on flyover construction in these areas.
