Govt of Assam invites bids for construction of trumpet interchange

The Chief Engineer, PWRD (EAP) Assam, Fatasil Ambari, Guwahati鈥�25, invites Bids on behalf of the Governor of Assam for the work under State鈥檚 Own Priority Development (SOPD) for the Construction of Trumpet Interchange at Gauripur T-Junction, North Guwahati. 

This trumpet interchange will connect Gauripur in North Guwahati to NH-17 with the under-construction six-lane road of the bridge on the Brahmaputra, with the goal of boosting the handloom sector. Travel time to North Guwahati will soon become easier as it will reduce travel time from Guwahati to North Guwahati and connect the NH 31 junction to just seven minutes as opposed to 45鈥�60 minutes.

The tendering will be done adopting single stage two envelope systems. The Bidders must submit their bids online through E-tendering system only. However, financial instruments and other credentials like bid security etc. must also be submitted in original as mentioned in the bidding document in the Office of the Chief Engineer (EAP), PWRD Assam, Fatasil Ambari, Guwahati-781025.

The cost of this project will be met from the State鈥檚 Own Priority Development Budget of Government of Assam.

The tender seeks Civil Works worth Rs. 2,55,61,00,000 to be completed in 540 days. As per the tender, the bid validity will be 120 days, and it will be an open bidding process. The bid submission began on July 12, 2023 and will end on July  25, 2023.
