MBL Infra completes construction work specified in BOT project

According to the provisions of the concession agreement signed by Suratgarh Bikaner Toll Road Firm (SBTRCL), a wholly owned subsidiary company, MBL Infra has finished the construction of the Bikaner-Suratgarh Section of NH-62 in the state of Rajasthan. As per the concessionaire agreement, SBTRCL has applied to the Authority for the addition of 5.289 kms for tolling as well as the completion certificate of the BOT project.

The authority had issued a provisional completion certificate on February 15, 2019, for a length of 156.635 km, and on March 18, 2021, for an additional length of 9.780 km. After receiving the completion certificate from the authority for the additional length, the toll collection for the extra 5.289 kilometres will begin.

The Suratgarh Bikaner Toll Road Company is anticipating an increase in toll revenue as construction on the 5.289 km of additional BOT project length is completed. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways awarded a change in scope of work of Rs 202.2 million for the construction of a new bridge over the INGP main canal.
