Nitin Gadkari Inaugurates Four Infrastructure Projects in Assam

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated four infrastructure projects worth Rs. 1,450 crore in Assam. The projects include a four-lane section between Nagaon Bypass-Teliagaon and Teliagaon-Rangagara, a 15 km bypass in Mangaldai, and a 13 km bypass between Daboka and Parakhuwa.

The four-lane section between Nagaon Bypass-Teliagaon and Teliagaon-Rangagara is 18 km long and will cost Rs. 403 crore. The bypass will improve connectivity between North Assam and Upper Assam, and is expected to boost economic growth and create new opportunities in the region.

The 15 km bypass in Mangaldai is located on NH 15 and will cost Rs. 535 crore. The bypass will strengthen the link between Assam, West Bengal, and Arunachal Pradesh, and will make travel between these states easier and more efficient.

The 13 km bypass between Daboka and Parakhuwa is located on NH-29 and will cost Rs. 517 crore. The bypass will strengthen the Guwahati-Dimapur Economic Corridor, which is a major trade route between India and Myanmar. The bypass will also improve connectivity between Assam and Nagaland.
