Residents of Govindpur, Jamshedpur applaud Health Minister Banna Gupta

The state of 14 roads including the major road in Govindpur was in such bad shape that residents were compelled to lead miserable lives. There were approximately 1 lakh persons affected. Now the residents of Govindpur would be relieved of their miserable situation. A 7.3 kilometre road to be built at a cost of Rs 50 million has been recommended. It will see the construction of 14 roads in Govindpur.

The Rural Development Department created and gave Ranchi the comprehensive project report. On March 31, after completing all the steps, approval was granted by the Mukhyamantri Gramin Sadak Yojana. Following his election as zilla parishad, Congress politician Paritosh Singh fought for the building of these roads and informed Minister Banna Gupta of the issue.

Understanding the miserable living conditions of the people of Govindpur, Health Minister Banna Gupta suggested building the road, where 14 roads from various Govindpur neighbourhoods used to connect. It received the Chief Minister's Rural Road Scheme's approval on March 31. After learning of this, hundreds of people arrived at Health Minister Banna Gupta鈥檚 home carrying drums, garlanded him, and expressed their congratulations.
