Metro for Kanpur soon

Kanpur can soon expect metro services as feasibility studies by Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) and Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) are being carried out in various areas across the city. Three metro corridors were proposed with two starting at IIT-Kanpur and ending at Ramadevi crossing and Phoolbagh, respectively, and the third from Barra to Phoolbagh. The detailed project report for Kanpur metro will be prepared in the next four months.
