The New Delhi-Chandigarh Shatabdi Express will be equipped with LCD screens at the back of the seats and would display around 80 television channels. Surround sound headphones will en-sure that the co-passengers are not disturbed.

The gadgets are a part of the unique infotainment initiative by Northern Railways. The train will be the first to boast of such equipment. Apart from the many television channels, passengers will also have the option to listen to an extensive array of music from all over the world.
