Bhubaneswar metro rail project survey commences

The survey work for the proposed Metro Railway in Bhubaneswar was initiated by the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation. It was mentioned that the survey work was being carried out from Vani Vihar to Sishu Bhawan Square.

As per reports, it was stated that a special team comprising members from the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation, alongside officials from the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Bhubaneswar Smart City, TPCODL, GAIL, BSNL, WATCO, and Commissionerate Traffic Police, had conducted the survey on that day. It was noted that had been conducted in the morning hours, owing to the prevailing intense heatwave in the region.

It was further mentioned that the team had surveyed various infrastructure elements such as electricity poles, water pipes, telephone lines, gas pipelines, and others in the proposed metro station areas.
