Nearly 40% of Chennai Metro Rail鈥檚 Phase II project has been completed, as revealed in a reply in the Lok Sabha. Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Tokhan Sahu, informed the Lok Sabha that Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the project, reported physical progress at 40.41% and financial progress at 32.74%.
