First Metropolis Trainset Delivered Pune

Alstom has delivered the first Metropolis trainset for Pune Metro's Line 3, marking a significant milestone in the city's urban transport development. The Metropolis trainset, manufactured at Alstom's SriCity facility in Andhra Pradesh, features a modern design tailored for the Indian market. This delivery aligns with Alstom's commitment to supporting sustainable urban mobility in India. Pune Metro's Line 3, spanning 23.3 kilometers with 23 stations, aims to enhance the city's public transportation infrastructure. The introduction of these advanced trainsets is expected to significantly reduce travel time and improve commuter experience. Each Metropolis trainset is equipped with advanced features such as CCTV surveillance, spacious interiors, ergonomic seating, and energy-efficient systems, designed to ensure safety, comfort, and reliability.

Alstom's SriCity facility plays a crucial role in this project, emphasizing the company's focus on Make in India and supporting local manufacturing. The facility is known for producing high-quality trainsets for both domestic and international markets.
