Five consulting firms bid to create a Feasibility Study for the development of a personal rapid transit (PRT) system in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), which is located near Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Introduction of the PRT system: The Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) is a driverless, electric vehicle system that provides point-to-point transportation within the city. The PRT system is designed to be a more efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional modes of transportation, such as cars and buses. The PRT system in GIFT City consists of a network of elevated guideways that are connected to stations throughout the city. Passengers can board and disembark from PRT vehicles at any station.
